Cat tree
The design of the cat tree did not originate as a commission from a specific client, but as a spontaneous reaction as a gift for a specific user and their four-legged pets.
My goal was to create an unconventional yet functional interior accessory with an interesting design and the ability to be unfolded and reassembled if necessary.
By creating two hollow legs wrapped with sisal rope, scratchers designed for sharpening cat claws were created. The legs of the cat tree were completed with shelves for lying and crawling with hanging balls used for play.
Each leg of the tree is finished with a textile Cocoon with a colourful textile cushion made by MEYOU-PARIS.
